Architecture of a hydraulic brake system for an aircraft
DRIVE
May 15, 2002
The accumulators (5,105,205) are connected on each circuit in a number sufficient for feeding each pair of brakes, with each pair of brakes mounted on a particular landing gear unit, and with an electric pump (30,31) being used to maintain a level of predetermined pressure in all the accumulators of a particular circuit. The architecture includes a train of principal landing gear units (1,11), each having a definite number of wheels having hydraulically activated brakes (9a...9d;109a...109d,209a...209d). Each group associated with a hydraulic circuit (c) having hydraulic units adapted for routing pressurized hydraulic fluid to the brakes of a particular group, by means of a pressure generator from a reserve (50).
