Bias aircraft tire

An aircraft tire having at least 6 pairs of bias carcass plies (36-42) and three bead cores (50, 52, 54) in each bead portion (18, 20) is disclosed. Each bead core is specifically designed to maximize the tires durability wherein the bead heel core (54) has at least one more row or column of bead wires when compared to the middle bead core (52).
