Retractable roof for vehicle, comprising three pivotable and sliding elements

The roof consists of front (1), intermediate (2) and rear (3) sections which retract into the vehicle's rear trunk (5). The movement of the rear section is controlled by at least one arm (6) articulated to a point (7) on the vehicle body, and the rear (3) and intermediate (2) sections have slideways (9, 11) for pins (10, 12) on the sections in front of them. The forward end of the rear section is articulated to the intermediate section by a lever (13) which is also pivoted to the arm (6) by a link (14), and to the front section by another lever (15) connected to lever (13) by a link (16).
