Cabin door of vehicle having a lower part with a recess and/or pivoting upwards

The driver's cab for a fork lift truck has a door (6) which is pivoted on a vertical strut (5). The base (1) of the door frame slopes upwards towards the rear and projects beyond the door frame. The lower section of the door is offset or hinged. This allows the door to rest against the cab when opened, with the lower section swivelled upwards against it.
