Method for determining longitudinal profiles and device therefor
DRIVE
April 17, 2002
The method involves detecting the vertical distance of the structure from a reference point at several points distributed over its length from the hydrostatic pressure of a liquid column at each point. The columns are open at the top, which forms the reference point and the measurements take into account the air pressure and hydrostatic liquid temperature at the measurement time. Independent claims are also included for the following: an arrangement for determining longitudinal profiles.
