Device with simplified wiring for level correction of a vehicle

Two chassis height sensors (10a,10b) connected in parallel send signals (Sa,Sb) to a processor (25) which uses them to generate a correcting output signal (Sout). The correcting signal is sent to headlight actuating mechanisms (31,32). The height sensor signals are pulse width modulated, have identifying synchronizing pulses and operate in master slave mode.
