Fuel injector
DRIVE
April 10, 2002
The valve has a swirl body (34), located downstream of a sealing seat, with swirl channels (35) and an ejection channel (7). A longitudinal axis of the swirl channel is located at an angle of less than 90 degrees relative to a similar axis (38) of the ejection channel, so that the fuel flowing through the injection valve (1) moves along a spiral path along an inner wall (40) of the ejection channel. The swirl channel is eccentric relative to the ejection channel, the swirl body is disc-shaped and closes a nozzle body (2) of the injection valve on the outlet side.
