Self draining orifice for pneumatic lines
DRIVE
April 3, 2002
Drainage is enhanced in an orifice (26) formed inside the internal passage (28) of a pneumatic line (22) by providing the orifice (26) with first and second portions. The first portion (30) defines a diameter that is smaller than the diameter of the internal passage (28), and the second portion (32) defines a progressively increasing diameter. Generally, a first end of the second portion (32) has a diameter that is equal to the first portion (30) diameter, and a second end of the second portion (32) has a diameter that is equal to the internal passage (28) diameter.
