The handle (4), having its end inside a body (3) containing a toothed wheel connected to the drum or roller axle, is connected to the wheel by a spring-loaded pawl with a lever (11). A second spring-loaded pawl which acts as a stop is mounted inside the housing. The first pawl acts as a ratchet for the toothed wheel, turning it when the handle is moved in one direction and sliding over the teeth in the other. It can be released by pressing on the lever (11).
