A theft prevention device for a vehicle comprising a vibration determining means for receiving a vibration signal detected by a vibration sensor, a fall determining means for detecting a bank angle of a vehicle body detected by a bank sensor, wherein an acceleration sensor is provided for simultaneously constituting the vibration sensor and/or the bank sensor. The single acceleration sensor is used both as the vibration sensor and/or the bank sensor.
