Such rollover protection systems typically have a rollover body (1) that can be extended and retracted in a vehicle-fixed housing (4) and can be quickly extended into an upper position in the event of danger by sensor control, as well as a re-retraction lock that comes into operative engagement in the upper position area, consisting of a locking device made up of toothed locking elements, one of which is vehicle-fixed and another is in communication with the rollover body (1).
