Glowplug

Glow plug comprises a glow tube (8) containing an inner pole (7) which is connected to the tube via heating and control spirals (1, 2). The spirals are arranged in such a way that they are uniformly heated over a region of their length by the heat of the spirals. Preferred Features: The control spiral (2) is arranged between two sections of the heating spiral and is surrounded by the heating spiral or heating spiral section. The control spiral is made of a material having a positive or negative temperature coefficient of resistance. The control spiral is made of 99.9 Ni or CoFe. The heating spiral is made of CrAl255 heat conductor material.
