Control device for a drawbar

The control system to set the position of a towbar, and especially the coupling shaft between a tractor and a mowing machine and the like, has a motor (30) operated by a pressure medium, controlled by a breaker valve (54). This interrupts the flow of the pressure medium to the hydraulic motor according to the relative position of the piston rod (48) and its cylinder (50). The switch-off function can be deactivated by an override unit (42).
