One wall (9a) of the channel is formed by an inner shell (6) and the other wall (9b) formed by an outer shell (5) of each side wall section of the vehicle's door. Both shells each have a cut-out to form a common door window aperture. The channel walls are formed by the edge members of both apertures which are parallel to one another and aligned in the direction of the window plane.
