DRIVE February 6, 2002
Source
The casing (2) of the exhaust gas turbocharger has an arc-shaped, one-piece flow intake connection (6) which in the curved section has a bypass connection (9) connected to a break in the wall (8). The casing and bypass connection are constructed separately and are detachably interconnected by corresponding contact faces (10,10') on the flow intake connection and housing as well on the bypass connection tangential adjacent to the flow intake connection.
