Arrangement for monitoring the correct operation of components which execute the same or corresponding action in an electrical system

The arrangement has a monitoring device for each component that can be operated independently of the monitored system component. The monitoring devices determine whether the monitored components are operating properly based on a comparison of monitoring data fed to them from the monitored components, the other components and/or the monitoring devices associated with them.
