Noble metal nanoparticles, a process for preparing these and their use

The present invention provides nanoparticles which contain noble metals alone or noble metals in combination with base metals. The nanoparticles are characterised in that they are embedded in an aqueous solution of a temporary stabiliser based on a polysaccharide.
