Apparatus for treatment of a vehicle, in particular washing or polishing apparatus

The treatment plant for a vehicle, especially a wash plant or polishing plant, has a nozzle arrangement(8) with one or more fluid jets on the sides and which during operation is rotatably driven around its longitudinal axis. The direction of rotation is selected so that the emerging spray jets(14) move over the vehicle in the relative direction of movement of the nozzle arrangement. The direction of rotation of the nozzle unit is reversible, and the speed of rotation is such that the circumferential speed of the spray jet on the vehicle is greater than the speed of movement of the nozzle arrangement.
