Occupant restraint system

The belt tension limiter is activated only after given passenger displacement in the forward direction and only after a predefined time for airbag inflation, when a crash intensity and passenger weight less than a given threshold are sensed. The inflation time is 40-70ms and the inner storage area lies in the region of 250-450mm and is held by a belt extension.
