Fuel supply system for motor vehicle
DRIVE
December 5, 2001
The vehicle fuel supply system has a tank (1) for receiving fluid fuel. A fuel pump is arranged in the tank, with a tap, a filter and a level indicator and an equilibrium volume (7). A temporary reservoir is provided for gaseous components of the fuel. Corresponding lines or conduits (5) to e.g. to a combustion engine are also provided. The tank is made up of two gas-tight parts (1a,1b) fixedly connected to each other. The connecting lines (5) are thereby releasably connected to the combustion engine, while the other elements mentioned are built into the interior space of the tank before the two gas-tight parts are finally fitted together.
