A steering device for a travelling vehicle according to the present invention comprises a steering wheel 3 that drives and rotates a steering shaft 1, a blinker lever 8 that is operated before starting a right turn or a left turn, a holding mechanism 2a and 9 &tilde& 12 that holds the blinker lever 8 at a right-turn position, a left-turn position or a neutral position and projecting members 14 and 15 that project along the radial direction from the steering shaft 1 and drive the holding mechanism 2a and 9 < &sinew& > 12 to reset the blinker lever 8 to the neutral position if the steering wheel 3 is turned back after a right turn operation or a left turn operation.
