Armrest

The armrest has a main body (2), a locking part (3) on the seat, and a locking element (4), with all parts positioned concentric about a shaft (6) mounted on the seat. Main body and locking part each have a friction unit (7,8), and these are in contact in radial direction and concentric to the shaft. The locking element supports one of the friction units in radial direction so that during overload, the friction units can be turned against each other.
