A compressor includes a discharge chamber (22) and a retaining passage (49), which is located downstream of the discharge chamber (22). A control valve (CV) controls the displacement of the compressor in relation to the pressure difference between a first pressure monitoring point (P1) in the discharge chamber (22) and a second pressure monitoring point (P2) in the retaining passage (49). A pressure introducing passage (38) connects the retaining passage (49) to the control valve (CV). The pressure introducing passage (38) has an opening (38a) to the retaining passage (49). An inlet member (81) is located in the retaining passage (49) to cover the opening (38a). The inlet member (81) has a pressure introducing port (83a) that functions as the second pressure monitoring point (P2). The pressure of the refrigerant in the retaining passage (49) is supplied from the pressure introducing port (83a) to the control valve (CV) through the pressure introducing passage (38). The inlet member (81) easily alters the position of the pressure introducing port (83a) in the retaining passage (49).
