"textContent": "Nitrogen oxide (NOx) and soot removal from lean combustion engine exhaust gas with low sulfur oxide (SOx) concentration involves passing the exhaust gas through a storage catalyst adsorbing NOx and SOx under lean exhaust gas conditions and a particle filter in two separate cycles. Nitrogen oxide (NOx) and soot removal from lean combustion engine exhaust gas with low sulfur oxide (SOx) concentration involves passing the exhaust gas through a storage catalyst adsorbing NOx and SOx under lean exhaust gas conditions and a particle filter. In separate cycles: (1) the storage catalyst is denitrified periodically by making the exhaust gas richer; and (2) the filter is regenerated by heating lean exhaust gas to a temperature at which soot burns off, then the storage catalyst is desulfurized by making the exhaust gas richer. An Independent claim is also included for the exhaust gas purification equipment used in the above process, which contains a NOx storage catalyst and a particle filter.",
