An automobile pedal device (1) comprising a support frame (2), an acceleration pedal arm (3) of rigid metal supported on the support frame (2) for rotation in an R-direction around an axis (A), a spring means (4) for rotatively urging the acceleration pedal arm (3) to an initial rotation position, a damper (5) for providing a resistance to the turning of the acceleration pedal arm (3) in the R-direction, and a stop for stopping the tuming of the acceleration pedal arm (3) at the initial rotation position.
