Cover for the underside of a motor car

The cover unit has an exhaust pipe (6) arranged at the sub-floor (1) of the vehicle and at least partly running in a holder space (7) open underneath and fixed to the chassis. The holder space is formed by a holder part (3), which separates the holder space from a cavity (9) above the holder part. The upper cavity has a Cardan shaft (4) running between a front engine and a rear axle drive (17).
