Device for connecting an electric motor

The device has two electrical leads (11,12) leading to the motor and a suppression part (17) between the leads. The suppression part is a capacitor with a varistor connected in parallel with it in the form of a plate varistor or an envelope of fuel resistant plastic joined only to the suppression part or to this and to chokes and bounding areas of the motor.
