Fuel pressure waves dampening element

A fuel rail assembly (100) is disclosed. The fuel rail assembly includes a generally hollow fuel rail (20) having a longitudinal rail axis (203) extending therethrough and a fuel damper element (110) having a wall (101) and a longitudinal damper element axis (103) extending therethrough. The fuel damper element (110) is located within the fuel rail (20). The damper axis (103) is generally parallel with the rail axis (202). A method of forming the fuel rail assembly is also disclosed.
