The electronic circuit intended to supply a magnetic field transmitting coil has a first input terminal (1) to receive a supply voltage (Ubat), a second input terminal (2) to receive a periodic control signal (SC) within a predefined frequency range, an output terminal (4) to generate an output current (I) in said magnetic field transmitting coil (L) connected between said output terminal (4) and ground (M), so as to convert said periodic control signal into a periodic magnetic field emitted by the coil. In this circuit, a series RLC circuit (RLC1) is connected between said output terminal (4) and ground to form with the magnetic field transmitting coil (L) a tuned antenna. Such an arrangement makes it possible to emit a magnetic field according to an extended pattern so that a receiving device has better sensitivity.
