An end (20A) to the outside in the vehicle width direction of a windshield glass (20) is supported by an extended portion (32F, 48B) of a pillar outer panel (32, 48) of a front pillar (18) at a position separated from a pillar framework member (26) that bears the strength and rigidity of the front pillar (18). Accordingly, the extended portion (32F, 48B), together with a window member support portion (32G, 32G) supporting the end (20A) to the outside in the vehicle width direction of the windshield glass (20) can deform up to a position at which the portion abuts against the pillar framework member (26).
