Height adjustment device for safety belts
DRIVE
October 17, 2001
The height adjustment system for a car safety belt comprises a locking lever (5) attached to the upper belt. This carries a lug (6) which lodges in a recess (3, 4) in a guide rail (2) and has a plastic outer sleeve (7). If a crash occurs the edge of the recess penetrates the plastic, giving more secure locking of the belt.
