Apparatus for preparing floor coverings, especially car floor coverings, after thermoforming in a press

A machine includes a vertically movable upper frame and a fixed lower frame both mounted on a base. Devices for joining an attachment to a sheet and a cutting the sheet into two pieces operate when the two frames come together. The attachment may be joined to the sheet by pressure and ultrasound using two horns attached to two jacks mounted on the upper frame. The horns are connected to ultrasound generators. The attachment is held in place on the lower frame by suction. The cutting device is a vertically movable blade mounted in the upper frame.
