Vehicle roof with ventig device

The roof (1) has a transparent part (4) and one or more ventilator devices (6) to open a ventilation aperture (11). The device is held on a front and/or a rear cross strut (2,3) of the roof. The transparent part is esp. a glass plate held on the struts. The device comprises of e.g. a pivoted ventilator flap (7), which covers air flow apertures (12) in the struts. One of the struts contains a retractable cover (14) for partial covering of the glass plate from below.
