Interior trim for luggage compartment

The lining for the luggage space of a motor vehicle has at least one panel (2) pivotally mounted around one edge. The panel has, when in a first horizontal position, an upper surface which is covered with a fragile coating. It releases, in another position, a horizontal surface with a second fragile coating layer. The panel can be mounted along a longitudinal edge (12) to allow pivoting between a horizontal position on the floor of the luggage space and a raised position along the side of the space.
