Convertible vehicle

The roof frame (1) has three-part side sections (3,4,5) connected by three roof support frames (7,8,9). The frame front side sections (3) are connected at the front by a roof peak assembly (6). The roof peak assembly (6) has front and rear cross members (15,16) stretching across the roof, and welded between these are a number of box shaped connector sections (11,12,13,14). This allows the operating rods of a roof catch mechanism fitted to the two central connector sections (12,13) to run through the box shaped sections, in addition to any necessary wiring looms.
