Piston machine
DRIVE
September 19, 2001
The internal combustion motor has a gearing between the pistons and the crankshaft with a swing lever (13,18) on a center pivot axis (14,20) in a gear housing (25). A rotating roller (15,19) is at the lever ends, on axes at right angles to the lever swing axis, to ride on a path (16,24) at the shaft (17) between them. The ends of the levers are linked to the pistons (7-10) by connecting rods (12).
