Vehicle with modular body
DRIVE
September 19, 2001
The vehicle, made with a modular body, lifting roof and hinged rear doors (1), has two hinges (3a, 3b) on each door which are in contact, one above the other, when the body is at normal size, and are separated when the roof is lifted and the body expanded to increase its capacity. The hinges are on a telescopic pivot, and the upper hinge (3a) is fastened to the top, rising panel of the door.
