Mounting method for a hand brake device and assembly for applying the method

The parking brake is assembled from a number of components which are mounted in the vehicle. The components are pre-assembled in the configuration they will have in the final position, and the pre-assembly locked before being fitted in place in the vehicle. The pre-assembly is unlocked and connections made to external components.
