Throttle valve body and method for its producton

The device has a housing with a choke flap (8) mounted on a shaft (6), a potentiometer housing (12) integrated into the port housing (4) and a potentiometer for detecting the choke flap setting with a fixed potentiometer base body (16) forming a cover for the potentiometer housing and a rotatable rotor (18). The rotor is mounted on the potentiometer base body so as to be able to rotate. Independent claims are also included for the following: a method of manufacturing a choke flap port.
