Loudspeaker assembly for motor vehicles

The loudspeaker system has a loudspeaker (30) mounted in the rear wheel storage basin of the motor vehicle. The loudspeaker is fitted to the rim (20) of the spare wheel (16) in a removable manner. The loudspeaker has a periodically damped housing whose outer contour matches the inner contour of a hollow space enclosed by the spare wheel rim.
