  "textContent": "The invention relates to a road barrier that can be mounted on the rear of a vehicle (1) for securing a road construction site, comprising a vertical warning sign (7) and an impact damper (4) against rear-end collisions, wherein the impact damper (4) can be pivoted up from a horizontal operating position with respect to a transverse axis (6) by approximately 90° into a rest position suitable for driving operation, while the warning sign (7) can be moved between guide members (8) from a high operating position into a lower rest position essentially in a vertical translatory manner. According to the invention, the pivoting movement of the impact damper (4) is coupled to the translatory movement of the warning sign (7) via cable or chain drives (11) such that both reach their respective operating or rest positions simultaneously.",
