Actuation device for the displacement of a sliding roof panel of motor vehicle

A device for controlling the movement of a sliding roof lid (1) on a vehicle comprises a pivoting device (21, 36) with which the lid (1) can be pivoted outward about a front pivot axis (5), a guide device for displacing the extended lid (1), wherein the guide device has a guide track (11) formed in a sliding rail (12), in which a drivable carriage (13) is mounted so as to be displaceable along the vehicle, and the extension movement of the lid (1) is effected by moving the carriage (13), and a locking device (19, 22, 31) which prevents the movement of the lid (1) along the guide track (11) during the pivoting movement of the lid (1), wherein the unlocking of the locking device (19, 22, 31) is carried out directly by the movement of the carriage (13).
