In a transport container device with a mounting frame (10) and a holding frame (32), a locking element (22) is movably mounted in a guide (20) of the mounting frame (10). The locking element (22) is connected on one side to the free end of a pulling means (28) which is held with its opposite end at least on the mounting frame (10) and is movably guided on the latter. On the other side of the locking element (22), a spring restoring force (27) acts, tensioning the pulling means (28). The tensioned pulling means (28) is, in its region (19) between its opposite end and its free end, displaceable by movement of an actuating element (T) transversely to its pulling means longitudinal direction, releasing the locking element (22) from a counter-locking element (34).
