Navigation system

The navigation system has a satellite navigation receiver (12) for delivering satellite navigation data and an inertia measuring device (34-38) providing inertia data which is combined with the satellite navigation data in a Kalman filter (42). The satellite provides controlled modification of the satellite navigation data, decoded via a decoder (60) within the satellite navigation receiver, for controlling the function of the Kalman filter.
