Cylinder head for a valve controlled combustion engine
DRIVE
July 25, 2001
The cylinder head has a housing (10) containing bearing blocks (24,24') for the inlet or outlet camshaft (12) and a camshaft adjuster (22) for altering the position of the camshaft drive wheel relative to the camshaft rotation axis. At least one bearing block (24') has a reduced section to allow space for a cylinder head bolt. A bearing bush (30) that expands the reduced block width has holes for the oil supply to the camshaft adjuster.
