The wing mirror has an adjusting device set in a housing secured on the mirror support (1) through at least one spring holder (3) which forms part of the mirror support (1) and/or housing (7). The spring element interacts with a counter member (8) preferably projecting radially over an edge of the housing. The housing has two or more circumferentially spaced counter members formed as narrow webs extending in the circumferential direction of the housing.
