Drive system, especially hybrid drive

The system has an internal combustion engine (4) and an electrical drive machine (5) for driving a gearbox unit (7) and an arrangement for selectively driving the gearbox unit by the engine or by the electrical machine. The transversal flux electrical machine is arranged between the engine and the gearbox unit. The electrical machine, the engine and the input shaft of the gearbox unit are mutually coaxial.
