The invention relates to a cover for a vehicle roof, comprising a cover plate (plastic plate 12) and a reinforcement frame for the cover plate, wherein the frame consists of at least two elements (14 and 16), each of which is firmly connected to the cover plate at a fixing point (22 or 24) and displaceably connected at multiple bearing points (34, 134, 234, 334 or 60), and which are interconnected in such a manner that they are mutually displaceable in the plane of the cover plate.
