The control unit (ECU) is arranged to keep the heating devices (10,11) and the cooling devices (7-9) deactivated and to activate the circulation means (6) and the shut-off device (15,16) for a predetermined initial period of time so that, during this period of time, the system (3) takes in air from inside the passenger compartment (1) and readmits the air, untreated, to the passenger compartment (1), and to acquire, by means of the sensor (13), a value for the temperature of the air circulated through the system (3) in these conditions.",
