Round the circumference of the body (1) are a number of web-shaped areas (10) along its lateral axis (9). Running between the neighbouring webs (10) are a number of channels (11), between which are outwardly vaulted sections (12) arranged so that these vaulted areas (12) form a circular or spiral path round the axis (9) of the damper body.",
